2. Overview and legal bases

We process personal data only for specified purposes and to the extent necessary. Depending on the processing, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), the initiation or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) or our legitimate interests in operating the website securely and economically (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Technically necessary storage is based on Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). We only use cookies and similar technologies for advertising purposes with your consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG); see section 6.

3. Hosting by Vercel

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data, including your IP address, the date and time, requested resource, referrer, browser type and operating system. Processing serves the secure, fast and stable delivery of the website on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data may be processed in the USA. Vercel provides contractual safeguards for international transfers, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information can be found in the Vercel privacy policy and the Vercel Data Processing Addendum.

4. Contact & enquiry form

If you contact us via the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we process your details (e.g. name, company, email, phone, event details) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Mandatory fields are marked in the form. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for the enquiry and any potential contract, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Together with your enquiry, we transmit how you came to our website: the referring website (domain name only), the first page you visited during your visit and, where applicable, campaign details from the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign). This shows us which channels lead to enquiries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in marketing the venue economically (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Until you submit, this information is held only in your browser's session storage and is only transmitted with your enquiry.

Formspree

We use Formspree, a service provided by Formspree, Inc., to transmit the enquiry form. When you submit it, the data you entered and technically necessary connection data are transmitted to Formspree and processed there to handle and forward the enquiry. Processing may take place in the USA. The transfer takes place to carry out pre-contractual measures and to handle your enquiry in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. 5. Audience measurement with Plausible Analytics

To understand how our website is used, we use Plausible Analytics, a service provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. Plausible works without cookies and does not store any data on your device. IP addresses are not stored. To distinguish visits, Plausible creates an encrypted daily value from the IP address, browser identifier and website, which is regenerated every day. This makes it impossible to recognise visitors across several days or websites.

Aggregated information is recorded, such as pages visited, referring websites, campaign parameters, country and region, browser, operating system and device type. We also count events such as successfully submitted enquiries, clicks on the phone number or email address, floor plan downloads and language changes. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and free text from the form are not transmitted to Plausible. The data is processed exclusively in the EU.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement and in improving our services (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time, for example via the contact details above or by blocking scripts from plausible.io in your browser. Further information: Plausible data policy.

6. Consent and Google Ads conversion tracking

On your first visit we ask whether we may use marketing services. You can choose “Necessary only” or “Allow marketing”; both options are equally easy to reach. Without your consent, this website does not load any Google services. We store your choice for 180 days in your browser’s local storage (key “hafen-consent”). You can change your decision at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” in the footer. If you withdraw consent, we delete any Google Ads cookies we can reach.

With your consent we use Google Ads conversion tracking (conversion ID AW-16900145323), a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It shows us whether contact with an ad led to a successfully submitted event enquiry or to a click on our phone number or email address. Google sets cookies such as “_gcl_au” (up to 90 days) for this and may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and browser data, the page visited, the referrer and the time. Processing in the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

For more accurate attribution we use enhanced conversions: after an event enquiry has been submitted successfully, we pass the email address and, if provided, the phone number to the Google tag. It converts them into a hash value using SHA-256 while still in your browser; Google only receives this hash value and matches it against signed-in Google accounts. This does not happen for enquiries about private celebrations.

7. Browser storage

The website remembers your choice to pause motion in your browser's session storage. This setting preserves your display preference during your visit. The referral details described in section 4 are also kept in session storage until you submit an enquiry. Session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab. It is not transmitted to any analytics service. Storage is based on Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG; the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Images, fonts, films and external links

Images, fonts and videos are served through this website’s hosting infrastructure. YouTube videos and Google Maps are not embedded automatically. Following an external link, for example to Google Maps, takes you away from our website. The respective provider’s privacy information applies to processing on the destination website.

9. Transfers to third countries

Vercel, Formspree and – with your consent – Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the USA. Where necessary, the providers base transfers on an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Despite these safeguards, processing in third countries may be subject to different data protection standards and access by public authorities.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
